All Jeep Models, Legend of 4x4 Freedom, Born to Explore

Since 1941, Jeep has meant rugged adventure and American can-do. Originally coming about on the battlefields of World War II, the Willys MB became the hero of the Allied forces, conquering inhospitable terrain with unrivaled durability and spirit to go anywhere. After the war, Jeep civilianized, introducing the CJ-2A in 1945 as the first 4x4 to be widely available to regular drivers, sparking a heritage of exploration that continues now.

From Battlefield to Backcountry: The Evolution of Jeep

1940s–1960s: The CJ series (short for Civilian Jeep) defined the off-road culture, and the Wagoneer (in 1963) created the original SUV segment by merging the utility of a truck with a comfortable family vehicle.

1970s–1980s: Jeep prospered under AMC, giving us legends such as the Cherokee (1974) and Wrangler (1986). The latter carried on with a CJ's DNA by adopting removable doors, fold-down windshields, and dirt-road tenacity.

The 90s–2000s: With the launch of the Grand Cherokee (1992), Jeep would change the landscape of luxury SUVs. The brand would cement its credentials with innovations such as the Trail Rated® badge, ensuring clients that their vehicles could go off-road.

2010s–Today: Jeep balances modernity with heritage. Driving the Wrangler JL (2018) and Gladiator (2020) melds classic looks with techs like Sky One-Touch roofs and diesel/ hybrid options (Wrangler 4xe, for example). Stellantis also enables Jeep's global reach —-and readiness for an electrified future with applications like the Equation EV and Wagoneer S.

Why Jeep Embodies Adventure

Jeep's DNA is an adventure. From the Rubicon Trail to urban jungles, its vehicles—Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Compass, and Renegade—do the job:

Iconic All-Terrain Capability: With Selec-Terrain® and Rock-Trac® systems and high ground clearance.

Versatility: equally comfortable on rocky trails or city streets.

Cultural Icon: Epitome of freedom, portrayed in movies, festivals, and bucket-list travels across the globe.
